From license key to your first listen.
AI web reader's initial release supports Google Chrome only. The final Chrome Web Store link will appear here after store approval.
Install from the Chrome Web Store
Open the approved store listing, choose Add to Chrome, then pin AI web reader from the Extensions menu. Until approval, no public store build is available.
Activate your license
Open AI web reader Settings. Paste your Solo key or one of your three separate Bundle keys and choose Verify license. Each key activates one installation.
Add your OpenAI API key
Create an API key in your own OpenAI account and paste it into Settings. OpenAI usage is billed separately by OpenAI; never send your API key to support.
Review privacy before sending
The extension extracts page or selected text locally and sends only the needed text directly to OpenAI when you request summary or speech. The AI web reader backend does not receive page text.
Start listening
Open a content-rich page, select the AI web reader toolbar icon to open the side panel, then choose Summary, Full page, or Selection. Play audio as soon as the first chunk is ready.
Delete local data
Open Settings to clear cached audio and summaries, your OpenAI key, license, or all locally stored extension data.
